I’ve always been interested in the Education sector and graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a Degree in Education Studies, Psychology & Counselling. From there, I got my first role in Education recruitment in 2014 and joined The Supply Register in 2021 after having progressed to a management role.
Even throughout the interview process with The Supply Register, it was evident that providing exceptional service to their Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) and candidates is at the heart of everything they had achieved. I was excited to hear about The Supply Register’s solution to their MAT’s recruitment and it was a great time for me to join the team.
What does your day-to-day entail at The Supply Register?
Every day/week is different in my role! I love the variety and I speak with people all day, every day, which is one of my favourite parts of the job.
Usually, once a week, I will be at one of our Multi-Academy Trust head offices meeting with them to conduct a full-service review. The rest of my week I focus on building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across all of our multi-academy trusts. I also work closely with our partnership teams to ensure that we can service our clients to the best of our abilities.
Although I am based at home, my home office is Cubo Nottingham which is such a lovely working environment so I do try and go there whenever I can, too.
How have you progressed since being with The Supply Register?
I joined The Supply Register as a Partnership Manager for the East Midlands team in 2021. We expanded and I started managing the new East of England region before moving to an Interim Operations Manager role. This was a completely different opportunity for me and I loved seeing other parts of the business. I looked after the job boards, internal recruitment and other projects.
I have recently moved into my new role as Strategic Relationship Manager and feel like this is where I belong! I love building relationships with clients at all levels and creating a plan of action to ensure that all of our contacts are happy. I’m so grateful for my journey at The Supply Register and the opportunities I have already had.
What do you find most rewarding in your role?
Having the opportunity to work with Multi-Academy Trusts to improve the service we provide and also increase their savings is very rewarding. We all work so hard here at The Supply Register so it is great to see when our hard work has paid off and we have happy clients!
