I service The Supply Register primary desk for South Yorkshire, working closely with schools to fulfil their supply needs, which includes daily recruiting for new candidates, advertising roles, filling bookings, liaising with schools and panel agencies, and checking in on current placements.
I’ve worked in education recruitment for more than seven years. I’ve previously covered Primary, Secondary and FE and SEN, and have also worked in the welfare to work sector placing ex-offenders into employment. Education recruitment has always been rewarding to me, as placing a real quality candidate into a school has such a positive impact, not just for the school but for the children who are learning, which is such a satisfying feeling.
Since joining The Supply Register in 2019, I’ve progressed from Candidate Services Partner to Partnership Executive and more recently to Assistant Partnership Manager. Working at The Supply Register, you’re given autonomy to be yourself and be successful in your way, with the help of the company processes in place.
Working in a hybrid way splitting my time between home and on location gives me a better balance, yet I feel cared for in my role and there’s always someone around to help if you need it. It’s an incredibly supportive business to work for.
