My role at The Supply Register as IT Services Manager means I continually develop our platforms and help end-users make the best use of our systems and technology. I suppose you could say I’m The Supply Register’s technical expert!
I joined The Supply Register in July 2016 after spending more than nine years in the public sector, working in information technology and software development. I joined The Supply Register as a Project Implementation Manager before progressing to IT Services Manager.
A career transition can be a daunting prospect, especially after a successful public-sector career. Projects in the private sector tend to be faster-moving than in the public sector, and there’s a real passion for what we do at The Supply Register by everyone involved.
Over the last five years, a great deal has changed in our VMS, CMS and payroll software, and even now we are still adapting and refining our features to deliver the best experience for our clients, candidates and suppliers.
No two days are the same at The Supply Register! The most rewarding aspect of my job is developing my skills and helping to foster the growth of the company and my team. There’s nothing more satisfying than receiving commendation for a job well done.
