My role at The Supply Register involves managing the day-to-day support function that keeps the company – especially the weekly payroll – running smoothly! I deal with any payroll related tasks and HR administration, as well as managing partner agency contracts.
Prior to joining The Supply Register in November 2019, I worked in payroll/HR for much bigger corporate companies, such as JCB and Phones4U, so I’m used to very large-scale payrolls. Coming to The Supply Register from a bigger company was quite a shock to the system but I absolutely love it. In larger companies, it can be quite difficult to pin people down or allow for collaborative working when there are so many other factors to consider. At The Supply Register, our growing teams mean I can literally speak to anyone in the business within a matter of minutes.
I’m a bit of an OCD kind of person, so I want my work to be 100% accurate and to the highest of standards. When payroll balances, I’m one happy lady! I think one of the most rewarding parts of the job is problem-solving tasks. I enjoy being able to fix an issue or come up with a solution, and continuously add to my own skill set.
The whole culture at The Supply Register is not like anything I have ever come across. There’s a real passion for what we do and it’s quite refreshing to be in that environment. My role is ever-changing and as the business grows, it means I am developing in tandem with it. The Supply Register is an exciting company to be part of.
