My role as Senior Partnership Executive at The Supply Register involves lots of speaking with people on the phone.
 This could be contacting schools to understand their upcoming vacancies and supply needs; liaising with new and registered candidates to understand what they are looking for in their next career move; or speaking with our panel agencies to ensure they are aware of the various bookings we are looking to fill. We also try to visit our partner schools as much as possible to understand their ethos, allowing us to make the best match between school and staff. No two days are the same!
After initially starting out in teaching, I moved into the world of sales and recruitment, working my way up the ladder in various roles. I had worked alongside The Supply Register as one of their panel agencies and liked how they operated. When the opportunity came up in August 2021 to join the North West team, I jumped at the chance.
The ethics and ethos of how we operate at The Supply Register are like nothing I have experienced before. Although we work in a competitive industry, there are no cutting corners. Compliance is at the heart of everything we do. We are constantly updating our skills and experience to keep up with the safest levels of practice.
The Supply Register trusts you with your own destiny with no micro-management. The success stories of progression throughout the company are there to see. If a member of staff does want to progress and develop, the routes are clear of what they need to achieve to reach their goals.
Most of us work remotely, but we are a close-knit team. We meet in person and via video-link as much as we can. What’s more, The Supply Register’s focus on wellbeing and work-life balance has meant we’re encouraged to finish on time.
There are so many rewarding things about working at The Supply Register. I have to say that when you register a candidate, and you’re able to listen to exactly what they’re looking for, knowing that you have a perfect opportunity for them as you know your client inside and out – that is the ultimate in terms of rewards!
