What is your role at The Supply Register?
I am the Agency Compliance Manager. I’m responsible for the auditing and ongoing compliance of our agency panel, ensuring all agencies meet regulatory, contractual, and quality standards. This new role within the business supports my line manager, Carley Dennington, in her role as Quality and Compliance Manager, and I am super excited to see where this new role takes me within my career at The Supply Register.
What did you do before joining The Supply Register
I previously worked for Adecco, where I spent the first 9 years of my career within recruitment. I worked in multiple roles at Adecco, always within the compliance department, where I eventually became Team Lead. All my roles here involved audits and compliance; I have extensive industry experience and eyes like a hawk when it comes to auditing!
What attracted you to join The Supply Register?
My own alignment with the company’s values was a strong pull, in particular the value of being ‘imaginative’. In compliance and auditing, imagination is crucial for anticipating risk, challenging assumptions, and improving processes beyond a standard approach. I also recognise that The Supply Register has a strong reputation and is in a position of growth, which is extremely attractive to me within a business.
What does a typical day look like for you?
As the role is still new, each day is quite different and can be sporadic. You can be sure that at some point throughout the day, I will be auditing one or more of our agency panels and supporting them with any compliance queries they have. In the future, an annual audit schedule will be implemented, covering all our partner agencies that work with The Supply Register across all regions.
What is an interesting fact about you that not many people know?
I am dog mad! I have two dogs: a 4-year-old French Bulldog and a 10-month-old Chow Chow puppy, who is currently 34 kilos, 5 kilos over average. I spend most of my free time walking and hiking with them. The crazy thing is, I have an allergy to dogs and have done since I was young, but it is worth it all for all the love and laughs they bring to my life – they truly are my best pals!
