I manage The Supply Register’s North region, overseeing all desks and partnership executives who support our schools across this area.
Our team works closely with schools to fulfil their supply needs, which includes daily recruiting for new candidates, advertising roles, filling bookings, liaising with schools and panel agencies, and checking in on current placements.
I’ve worked in education recruitment for more than seven years. I’ve previously covered Primary, Secondary, FE, and SEN, and have also worked in the welfare-to-work sector, placing ex-offenders into employment. Education recruitment has always been rewarding to me, as placing a high-quality candidate in a school has a profoundly positive impact, not just for the school but also for the children learning, which is a truly satisfying feeling.
Since joining The Supply Register in 2019, I’ve progressed from Candidate Services Partner to Partnership Executive, to Assistant Partnership Manager and, more recently, Regional Partnership Manager for the North. Working at The Supply Register, you’re given autonomy to be yourself and be successful in your own way, with the help of the company processes in place.
Working in a hybrid way, splitting my time between home and on location, gives me a better balance, yet I feel cared for in my role, and there’s always someone around to help if I need it. It’s an incredibly supportive business to work for.
