One of our partner schools in Ashford is looking for an inspiring and driven Geography Subject Lead to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate geography teacher ready to take the next step or an experienced leader eager to shape a dynamic and forward-thinking department.
About the Role:
As Subject Lead for Geography, you will:

Lead the planning, delivery and development of the geography curriculum across Key Stages 3 to 5

Inspire students to think critically about the world—from local communities to global challenges

Support and develop colleagues within the department, sharing best practice and driving standards

Contribute to whole-school improvement as part of the extended leadership team
What We’re Looking For:

A qualified teacher with a specialism in Geography (QTS or equivalent)

A passion for geography education and a vision for outstanding teaching and learning

Experience in curriculum design, assessment, and departmental leadership (or readiness for it!)

Excellent communication, organisation, and team leadership skills

A commitment to inclusion, student progress, and ongoing professional growth
