The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with The Rise Partnership Trust, which includes several inclusive schools across Brent and Wembley. We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and support pupils with a range of special educational needs across The Manor Schools, The Avenue School, and Wembley Manor Primary School.
These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children who require additional support and are looking for flexible teaching assistants.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with class teachers to support children with a variety of SEN, including autism, speech and language needs, and emotional or behavioural difficulties

Help set up and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Assist with classroom activities, both in the classroom and during off-site trips

Implement behaviour support strategies as needed, promoting positive learning behaviour
-
Provide one-to-one or small group support tailored to each pupil’s learning needs

Carry out basic administrative tasks, such as preparing resources and recording pupil progress

Communicate effectively with other staff, parents, and external professionals involved in each pupil’s care
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with special educational needs is essential
-
A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs
-
Understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and health and safety protocols in schools
-
Confident using basic technology to support learning (e.g., computers, tablets, photocopiers)
-
Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with both pupils and staff
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Must have the right to work in the UK

Able to provide two recent professional references
