The Prescot School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Male PE Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive Physical Education department. This post is open due to a genuine occupational requirement to supervise and deliver PE lessons to male students.

 

About the Role:

We are looking for a committed professional with the energy and passion to inspire boys across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a commitment to student wellbeing, and the ability to engage all learners in a wide range of sporting and fitness activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development

  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school teams

  • Contribute to the development of PE across the school and promote healthy lifestyles

  • Support the wider pastoral care of male students as part of the school community

 

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field

  • Has experience teaching PE at secondary level (including to male pupils)

  • Is an excellent communicator with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
