Here at The Supply Register we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join Mascalls Academy in Paddock Wood. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Drama and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment. This is a maternity cover role starting in September 2025.
Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover the curriculum
- Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Provide mentoring and tutoring support to students who require additional assistance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and practical evaluations.
Qualifications
- Must hold QTS or equivalent
- Teaching qualification or certification in education is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
- A passion for science education and a commitment to student success.
