Business Lecturer (BTEC experience)

The Supply Register is inviting expressions of interest from experienced and enthusiastic Business Lecturers to support Further Education settings in Kidderminster. We partner with local colleges and training providers to help them find dedicated permanent and long-term teaching staff to deliver high-quality Business courses.
About the Role:
As a Business Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies, with a focus on BTEC courses and other relevant qualifications
- Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with awarding body standards
- Provide constructive feedback to help learners develop their skills and achieve their goals
- Support learners in developing their understanding of core business concepts, practical applications, and employability skills
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement within the department
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
- Experience teaching BTEC Business courses at Level 2 and/or Level 3
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds
Desirable:
- Previous experience in further education or post-16 teaching
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners with creative and engaging teaching approaches
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in business education
