Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Education teacher ready to inspire young minds? Cornwallis Academy, part of the successful Future Schools Trust, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department for a long-term position starting in September 2025. This is a part-time role for 3 days per week.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic teacher who can:
- Deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
- Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment where all perspectives are valued
- Encourage critical thinking, debate, and reflection among students
- Contribute to the development of our RE curriculum and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting
- A passion for promoting interfaith understanding and moral reflection
- Strong communication and organisational skills
