We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join as Bank staff for Tiger Cubs Day Nursery. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality care and education. The successful candidate will also need to hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.
- Promote children’s well-being, safeguarding, and health and safety at all times.
Requirements:
- A relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent).
- Experience working in an early years setting is mandatory.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
