Salary: £85 – £110 per day (negotiable depending on experience)

The Supply Register are seeking dynamic Cover Teachers to join our vibrant team. We welcome individuals with a range of backgrounds, from experienced teachers to those with experience in sports coaching, youth work, or other relevant fields, who are eager to expand their teaching skills.
Your Role as a Cover Teacher:

Lead classes in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere.

Ensure that students remain on task and complete the work provided.

Support students with their learning, offering guidance and answering questions where needed.

Maintain strong classroom management to ensure a safe, focused, and respectful learning environment.

Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom culture.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Background working with children or young people, particularly in an educational or similar setting.

Enhanced DBS: On the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and behaviour management skills.

Flexibility: Ability to quickly adapt to different classroom settings and subject areas.

Attitude: A positive, proactive approach to supporting student learning and well-being.
