This award recognises our ongoing partnership with The Two Counties Trust and celebrates the innovative, collaborative work we’ve done together to transform recruitment practices across their schools.
The CPC Supplier Awards honour suppliers across the UK who go above and beyond in delivering value, quality, and outstanding service to the education sector. The ceremony, held at The Hilton in Manchester, also raised funds for the CPC’s ‘Giving Back‘ initiative, which is investing ÂŁ1.5 million into education-focused causes.
We’re incredibly proud that our work with The Two Counties Trust stood out among the firm competition. Since being awarded the managed service contract under the CPC Framework in 2021, we’ve worked closely with the Trust to bring structure and consistency to their recruitment approach across nine secondary academies in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Before the partnership, the Trust faced fragmented recruitment processes and limited visibility over temporary staffing. Together, we introduced a centralised model to standardise rates, eliminate unethical agency fees, and improve timesheet and invoice workflows, saving time and money in the process. We also focused on building a reliable pool of high-quality supply staff that aligns with the Trust’s values and needs.
This partnership was renewed in January 2025 for another two years, reflecting our strong working relationship and continued success. Regular review meetings, dedicated support from our local and central teams, and a shared commitment to improvement have helped the partnership thrive.
Some key highlights include:
- An average saving of 12.5% across all locations, and 8.1% on supply teachers alone.
- 82% of bank staff worked multiple days, showing strong continuity and engagement.
- 87% of candidates received a quality rating of 3 stars or higher.
