Location: Manchester Enterprise Academy, Wythenshawe, Manchester, M22 9RH
Contract Type: Long Term, full time contract, starting in September
Pay: Competitive daily rates of £105 to £130 per day (DOE)
About the Role
This position is for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant working within The Greenwood Room, Manchester Enterprise Academy’s on site Alternative Provision. The Greenwood Room provides a nurturing, structured environment for students who require additional behavioural, emotional, or learning support outside the mainstream classroom.
You will work closely with a small team to support students with diverse needs, helping them engage with their learning, build confidence, and develop positive relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with SEN or challenging behaviour and will be patient, calm, and adaptable.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing one to one and small group support

Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation

Helping to adapt resources and activities to suit individual needs

Working alongside teachers and support staff to implement personalised plans
