Job Summary:

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Carlisle College to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Progress Coach to join the Learner Experience Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support students on a 1:1 and group basis, guiding their personal development, promoting academic success, and helping them progress into further education, training, or employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students in achieving their course goals and remaining engaged with their studies.
Work 1:1 and in small groups with learners to identify and close gaps in knowledge.
Address pastoral and attendance concerns, helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Liaise effectively with parents, guardians, and internal teams to develop meaningful action plans for student success.
Support learners with SEND and ensure inclusive practices are in place.
Contribute to the college’s safeguarding efforts and act as a trusted adult for students requiring support.

Requirements:

Essential:

Experience supporting learners with SEND needs.
Awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A learner-centred, supportive approach.

Desirable:

Background in education, youth work, or mentoring.
