Location: Swale Academies Trust Primary School, Eastbourne
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Supply (Mornings Only)
Hours: Approximately 8:30am – 12:30pm (subject to confirmation)
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced EYFS Support Staff Member to work on a supply basis with a Reception pupil who is starting school in September 2025. This role is based at one of our welcoming and inclusive Swale Academies Trust primary schools in Eastbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for a Reception-aged pupil during morning sessions.
- Support the pupil’s transition into school life, ensuring they feel safe, included, and engaged.
- Assist with delivering tailored learning activities as directed by the class teacher and SENCo.
- Encourage social, emotional, and educational development in line with EYFS goals.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies where appropriate.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Understands the needs of young children and is passionate about early education.
- Is patient, reliable, and committed to supporting the individual needs of pupils.
- Can work flexibly and positively as part of a team.
