Job Summary:
The Supply Register is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Beauty Lecturer to join the team at Newcastle College on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach and inspire learners on Level 2 Beauty programmes, with the potential to also deliver at Level 3.
This role is ideal for an experienced beauty professional with a teaching qualification who is looking to make a positive impact in a further education setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Level 2 Beauty (and potentially Level 3).
- Plan, prepare, and assess teaching materials to support learner success.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress in line with college requirements.
Requirements:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or assessor award acceptable).
- A Level 3 qualification in Beauty.
- Previous teaching or assessing experience in further education is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one through The Supply Register).
