Support HubGeneral Cover Supply Teacher – The Grange Academy (Wade Deacon Trust)
Location: Runcorn, Cheshire
Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-Day, Short-Term, and Long-Term Opportunities)
Salary: £130 – £200 per day (dependent on experience and assignment type)
The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with The Grange Academy, part of the Wade Deacon Trust, to provide high-quality teaching staff for day-to-day and longer-term cover roles across the school.
We are currently looking for reliable and flexible General Cover Supply Teachers to join our talent pool and support the school with planned and unplanned teacher absences.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety in their work and are confident teaching across different subjects and year groups at secondary level. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in KS3 and KS4.

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.

Support students in their learning and follow the school’s policies and procedures.

Liaise with other staff members to ensure continuity and effective classroom management.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Confidence in teaching a variety of subjects.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

A positive and adaptable approach to teaching.

A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through The Supply Register).
