Contract: Full-time, Temporary (25th August – 24th October 2025)

Job Summary:

The Supply Register is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Policing Lecturer to join the teaching team at Newcastle College on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons to learners on the Level 3 Policing programme and support them in their journey toward public service careers.

This role is ideal for experienced educators looking for a short-term teaching opportunity in a well-respected further education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching to Level 3 Policing students
Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons
Assess and support learners in achieving their qualifications
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Carry out marking and provide feedback in a timely manner

Requirements:

Experience teaching at Level 3 (Policing or a related subject)
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE preferred) or relevant experience
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A learner-focused approach to teaching and assessment
A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one through The Supply Register)
