Organisation: Newcastle College (via The Supply Register)
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Newcastle College to recruit a Tutorial Sessions Facilitator to support learners within the Protective Services department.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in the criminal justice system to play a key role in guiding and supporting learners through their Level 3 programmes. This position offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deliver structured tutorial sessions to Level 3 learners
-
Support students’ personal, academic, and professional development
-
Help learners develop resilience, motivation, and a clear understanding of career pathways in criminal justice or related fields
-
Maintain accurate records of learner progress and engagement
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking individuals with real-world experience in the criminal justice system—this could include backgrounds in law, policing, probation services, or the Crown Prosecution Service. Experience in just one of these areas is sufficient.
While a teaching qualification (such as a PGCE) is welcomed, it is not essential. More importantly, we are looking for someone who has experience supporting or mentoring others and can confidently deliver sessions to young people aged 16+.
