The Supply Register is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join Sir Edmund Hillary Primary Academy in Worksop, supporting pupils across EYFS to Year 6. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to gain valuable experience within a supportive, welcoming primary school environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers with classroom activities and learning

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 or small‑group basis

  • Support positive behaviour and engagement

  • Help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment

  • Assist pupils across a range of year groups

We’re Looking For Candidates Who:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with children

  • Have experience supporting children (school, volunteering, care, youth work or similar backgrounds considered)

  • Understand the UK primary curriculum

  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Can support positive behaviour and learning
