Teaching Assistant – Birley Area (Sheffield) – L.E.A.D Academy Trust

£92–£100 per day | Immediate Starts | Primary & Secondary Roles

The Supply Register is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across L.E.A.D Academy Trust schools in the Birley area of Sheffield, including:

  • Birley Primary Academy

  • Birley Spa Primary Academy

  • Charnock Hall Primary Academy

  • Rainbow Forge Primary Academy

  • Birley Academy (Secondary)

We have immediate, long‑term, and flexible day‑to‑day opportunities available across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and secondary.

Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils’ learning in primary or secondary classrooms

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support

  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and daily routines

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

  • Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, resilience and confidence

  • Ability to adapt to different classroom settings

  • A proactive and supportive approach
