Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant – After-School Club
Location: Forefield Infant School, Crosby
Hours: Monday–Friday, 3pm–6pm
Duration: 1 month (temporary position)
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Forefield Infant School in Crosby and is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their after-school club for one month.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment after the school day.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the after-school club.
- Providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment for children.
- Planning and supporting fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Encouraging children’s learning, development and social skills through play.
- Supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Supporting children’s personal care and wellbeing where required.
- Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Ensuring children are safely supervised and accounted for throughout the session.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a Level 3 EYFS-related qualification (essential due to staffing ratios).
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Have experience working with Early Years children.
- Be caring, approachable and enthusiastic.
- Be confident supporting children’s play, learning and development.
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding.
