The Supply Register is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to work in Aigburth, Liverpool, starting immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant experience who is passionate about supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in the classroom, supporting teachers and pupils to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teachers with the delivery of lessons.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
- Supporting pupils with reading, writing and numeracy.
- Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
- Helping to manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Encouraging pupils to remain engaged and focused on their learning.
- Supporting pupils with their day-to-day learning and development.
- Working closely with teachers and other school staff.
- Building positive and supportive relationships with pupils.
⭐ Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant in Aigburth who can make a positive difference to pupils’ learning and development.
Experience in any of the following roles would be beneficial:
- Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
- Classroom Support Assistant
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Education Support Worker
- School Support Worker
✅ Requirements
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable.
- Experience supporting children or young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient and supportive approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and education.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and school procedures.
- A fully enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
DBS REQUIREMENT
A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this role. Candidates must be able to provide their DBS details for verification before commencing work.
PAY: £90 PER DAY
