Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant ready to make an immediate impact supporting children with additional needs?
The Supply Register is working in partnership with L.E.A.D Academy Trust to recruit a committed SEND Teaching Assistant for Sir Edmund Hillary Primary Academy in Worksop. This role offers the chance to support pupils’ learning, development, confidence and wellbeing within a warm, inclusive primary school environment.
We are looking for individuals with experience supporting children with SEND, additional learning needs or complex needs, who can bring a calm, nurturing and consistent approach to the classroom from day one.
Role Responsibilities

Providing 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with additional needs

Helping children access learning and achieve personalised goals
-
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence
-
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team

Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs

Understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practice

Patient, resilient and compassionate approach

Strong communication and relationship‑building skills

Ability to support pupils’ emotional, social and academic development
