The Supply Register is working in partnership with the L.E.A.D Academy Trust to recruit dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants across primary schools in Sheffield, including:

We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals who can support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and reach their full potential within inclusive, nurturing school environments.
Role Responsibilities

Supporting children with SEND and additional learning needs
-
Providing 1:1 and small‑group support
-
Supporting pupils’ emotional, social and academic development
-
Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence
-
Working alongside teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment

Have experience supporting children with additional needs

Understand SEND strategies and support approaches

Are patient, resilient and compassionate

Have strong communication and behaviour management skills

Can build positive relationships with pupils
