  • Managing behaviour positively and encouraging engagement in learning.
  • Adapting support to meet individual pupils’ needs.
  • Promoting inclusion, independence, and confidence.
  • Following safeguarding procedures and school policies.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a classroom or SEN setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High expectations of all pupils and a commitment to helping every child succeed.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and improving learning outcomes.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

What We Offer

  • Free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
  • A generous Refer a Friend bonus scheme.
  • Competitive and fair rates of pay.
  • A dedicated Partnership Executive to help find roles that suit your needs.
  • Weekly PAYE payments, with no umbrella company involvement.
  • Flexible working opportunities across different contract types.
  • Valuable experience supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
