Long-Term Secondary Teaching Roles – January 2026 Start

Location: Tamworth and surrounding areas, West Midlands
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Long-term placements

We are seeking dedicated and qualified secondary teachers for long-term teaching opportunities in Tamworth and nearby West Midlands schools, starting January 2026.

Positions are available across a wide range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, ICT, and more. These roles are suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) eager to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Plan and assess learning to support student progress and achievement

  • Contribute to the life of the school and maintain a positive learning environment

  • Uphold school policies and promote a culture of inclusion and excellence

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification

  • Enhanced DBS registration on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain

  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to fostering student success
