Science Teacher – St Cuthbert’s RC High School, Rochdale

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science in young people. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, you’ll play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the Science curriculum, creating a positive learning environment where students can develop their knowledge, practical skills, and enthusiasm for scientific discovery.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
✅ Inspire students to develop a passion for scientific learning.
✅ Assess, monitor, and support student progress and attainment.
✅ Deliver practical experiments safely and effectively.
✅ Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student success and departmental objectives.
What We’re Looking For
⭐ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
⭐ Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
⭐ Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
⭐ Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
⭐ A commitment to raising achievement and supporting all learners.
⭐ A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
