School Caretaker – Liverpool
Temporary Position | Immediate Start
Working hours 8:00 – 17:00
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with a number of leading school trusts across the Liverpool area, and we are currently looking for a reliable and hands-on School Caretaker to join one of our partner schools on a temporary basis.
If you’re practical, dependable and take pride in keeping a school safe, clean and well-maintained, we want to hear from you!
️ Your Duties Will Include:
- Carrying out general maintenance and repairs around the school
- Ensuring the school site is safe, secure and well maintained
- Opening and closing the school premises
- Completing routine health and safety checks
- Reporting and dealing with maintenance issues
- Setting up rooms and spaces for school activities and events
- Liaising with contractors when required
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site

- Experience working as part of a team and using your own initiative.
- Effective customer service skills and being able to work to high standards.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development.

Requirements
- To have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate on the update service.
- Provide a minimum of two references to cover the last 24 months of employment.
- Right to work in the UK.
