This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in developing the personal, social, employability, and life skills needed to achieve success both within education and beyond.
About the Role
As a Personal Development Tutor at Kidderminster College, you will:
Deliver engaging Personal Development sessions to Further Education learners,
Support students in developing confidence, resilience, employability skills, and positive behaviours,
Promote learner wellbeing, safeguarding awareness, citizenship, and personal growth,
Monitor learner engagement and encourage positive participation in college life,
Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to support learner progression and achievement,
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience within teaching, tutoring, learning support, mentoring, youth work, or a related field,
Strong communication and organisational skills,
The ability to engage, motivate, and support learners from a variety of backgrounds,
An understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and learner development,
Experience supporting Further Education learners is desirable,
A clean Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.
