PE Teacher (Full-Time) – MEA Central High School, Manchester
Contract Duration: January 2026 – April 2026

MEA Central High School is seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and dynamic PE Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to inspire students, contribute to a thriving PE department, and promote a culture of health, wellbeing, and sporting excellence.

About the Role

  • Full-time teaching position within a well-resourced PE department

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Support extracurricular sport and physical activity programmes

  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold MEA Central’s values

  • January 2026 start, with the contract running until April 2026 (may continue longer if required)

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified PE teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)

  • Has a passion for student development and physical education

  • Brings energy, organisation, and excellent classroom management

  • Can work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
