About the Role
The Supply Register is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of John Taylor Free School, part of the John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT), for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from October Half Term through to December 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing secondary school that currently accommodates Year 7 and Year 8 pupils, allowing you to make a real impact during a key stage of students’ educational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress.
- Monitor and track pupil achievement, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold high standards of behaviour and attainment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring young people to achieve their potential.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
