The Supply Register is proud to be working alongside Mersey View Trust, who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to teach Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Maths Teacher who is passionate about education, confident in delivering engaging lessons, and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
You will be supporting students with their mathematical learning, preparing them for GCSE and A Level examinations where required, and helping them develop confidence, problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher working with Mersey View Trust, your responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons across KS4 and/or KS5.
- Teaching mathematical concepts clearly and effectively to support student understanding.
- Preparing students for GCSE, A Level and other relevant qualifications.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs and abilities of individual learners.
- Supporting students with their academic progress and mathematical development.
- Assessing students’ work and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, achievement and engagement.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Supporting students who require additional help with their learning.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and school staff.
- Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum requirements.
- Building positive and professional relationships with students.
⭐ Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a passionate, committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher who can inspire students and make a positive difference to their learning and achievement.
The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and the ability to make Mathematics accessible and engaging for learners of different abilities.
✅ Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Experience teaching KS4 and/or KS5 is desirable.
- Strong mathematical subject knowledge.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting students’ learning and achievement.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and school procedures.
- A fully enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
DBS REQUIREMENT
A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this role. Candidates must be able to provide their DBS details for verification before commencing work.
PAY: £140–£200 PER DAY
Daily rates are dependent on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
