We are working in partnership with Leigh Academies Trust to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teachers to join a few of their successful secondary schools from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to inspire young people and deliver engaging lessons within a supportive and ambitious academy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Monitor student progress and implement effective strategies to raise attainment.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental development.
Key Skills
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to motivate students and create an inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Humanities within the UK secondary curriculum.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
