Are you a confident and experienced HLTA ready to take the next step in your school career?
The Supply Register is working in partnership with the L.E.A.D Academy Trust to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a cluster of welcoming primary schools across the S12 area of Sheffield.
This role involves delivering whole‑class cover when required, alongside wider classroom and pupil support across KS1 and KS2. You’ll have the chance to work flexibly across multiple schools within a supportive, collaborative community.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across:

Key Responsibilities
-
Leading whole‑class learning during teacher absence
-
Delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining learning continuity
-
Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 in small groups and 1:1
-
Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and participation
-
Assisting teaching staff with classroom preparation and delivery
-
Contributing to a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
-
Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience in a primary setting
-
Are confident delivering whole‑class cover independently
-
Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
-
Can adapt quickly across year groups and school environments
-
Are proactive, reliable and ready to support from day one
