Lecturer – Health & Social Care (Part-Time, Permanent, Wolverhampton)
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent (0.5 FTE / 17.5 hours per week)
Salary: Qualified/Unqualified Lecturer Scale, SCP 22–37 (£27,885 – £43,341 pro rata)
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with an established organisation in Wolverhampton to appoint a Lecturer in Health & Social Care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and inspiring individual to join a supportive and dynamic team, delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Health & Social Care programmes.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective teaching, learning, and assessment within Health & Social Care.

Support students in achieving their qualifications and developing wider employability skills.
-
Embed English, Maths, Equality & Diversity, and safeguarding within teaching practice.
-
Contribute to recruitment, retention, and student success, maintaining high academic standards.
-
Participate in curriculum planning, quality assurance, and programme development.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
-
Teaching qualification (DTLLS, Cert Ed., PGCE) or willingness to work towards one.
-
GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Level 2 or above, or willingness to achieve this during probation.
-
Relevant qualification or professional experience in the Health & Social Care sector.
-
Experience designing, delivering, and assessing high-quality teaching and learning.
-
Ability to deliver to awarding body standards, including assessment and marking requirements.

Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and educational technology tools).
Desirable:

Qualification above the level being taught.

Experience working with different awarding bodies or developing new programmes.
