Are you an experienced Head Chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and loves leading a team to culinary excellence?
Coleg Cambria, in partnership with The Supply Register, is looking for a passionate and skilled Head Chef to join their outstanding hospitality and catering department. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your creativity, leadership, and industry experience to one of Wales’ leading colleges.
What you’ll be doing:

Leading the day-to-day operations of the college’s training kitchens and restaurant.

Overseeing menu planning, stock management, and food preparation to industry standards.

Delivering high-quality, hands-on culinary sessions for learners in professional cookery.

Inspiring and mentoring students and junior kitchen staff to achieve excellence.
-
Ensuring compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

Working collaboratively with teaching staff to provide an outstanding learner experience.
✅ What we’re looking for:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef within the hospitality industry (essential).

Strong leadership and organisational skills with a focus on quality and innovation.

Excellent knowledge of modern cookery techniques, menu development, and kitchen management.

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) — or willingness to work towards one.

A genuine passion for training and developing future chefs.
