The Supply Register is delighted to be supporting Newcastle College in recruiting a passionate and skilled Hairdressing Lecturer to join their Creative and Service Industries department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an industry professional to inspire the next generation of stylists and support learners developing key technical skills.
About the Role
You will deliver high-quality, engaging sessions in Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing, ensuring learners gain the practical skills and professional knowledge required for the industry.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering practical and theory-based lessons across Level 2 or Level 3 Hairdressing

Supporting learners in developing cutting, colouring, styling and consultation skills

Assisting with assessments, marking and feedback

Helping maintain a safe, professional salon environment

Guiding students through their qualifications and building industry confidence
What We’re Looking For
-
Level 2 or Level 3 Hairdressing qualification (essential)

Strong, current industry experience in a salon or similar setting
-
Teaching experience is desirable but not essential
-
Experience working with trainees or apprentices is welcomed
-
A passion for developing learners and supporting their progression
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
