The Supply Register is working in partnership with Dixons Cottingley Academy, part of the Dixons Academies Trust, to recruit enthusiastic General Cover Teachers to support the school with ongoing staffing requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, or teachers looking to gain experience across different subject areas within a high-performing secondary school environment.
About the Role
As a General Cover Teacher, you’ll deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subject areas, ensuring pupils remain engaged and learning continues effectively during teacher absences. You’ll work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom practice.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within a secondary school setting
- Can confidently manage behaviour and classroom routines
- Is adaptable and comfortable teaching across a range of subjects
- Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
