About the Role

  • As a Games Design Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Games Design programmes, including Level 2 provision,
  • Plan and prepare learning activities that meet awarding body and curriculum requirements,
  • Support learners in developing creative, technical, and industry-relevant skills,
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experience and curriculum delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience within Games Design, Games Development, Digital Media, or a related creative industry,
  • Knowledge of games design principles, development tools, and creative technologies,
  • Strong communication and organisational skills,
  • A passion for supporting and developing learners,
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
  • A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
