About the Role
- As a Games Design Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Games Design programmes, including Level 2 provision,
- Plan and prepare learning activities that meet awarding body and curriculum requirements,
- Support learners in developing creative, technical, and industry-relevant skills,
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experience and curriculum delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within Games Design, Games Development, Digital Media, or a related creative industry,
- Knowledge of games design principles, development tools, and creative technologies,
- Strong communication and organisational skills,
- A passion for supporting and developing learners,
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
- A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
