Hours: 24 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (afternoon only), Thursday, Friday (morning only)
Working Hours: 8:45am – 4:15pm
Salary: Competitive
Transport: Own transport preferred (teaching across two sites, approx. 1 mile apart)
About the Role
The Supply Register are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Functional Skills Lecturer to cover a short-term period of planned leave at an education provider in Kidderminster.
This role involves delivering Entry Level 3 Functional Skills Maths sessions, with some English delivery, across two nearby sites. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced lecturer or tutor who enjoys supporting learners in achieving their core skills.
What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver engaging and supportive lessons in Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level 3) and some English.

Plan and assess student work, ensuring positive progression and engagement.

Create an inclusive learning environment where all learners can achieve.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
What We’re Looking For

Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).

Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or English, ideally to Entry Level learners.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Flexibility and a professional approach.

Own transport preferred (teaching across two sites approximately 1 mile apart).
