Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Chesterfield)

£90–£120 per day | Immediate Starts | Urgently Hiring

The Supply Register is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Chesterfield area. We have immediate, long‑term, and flexible supply opportunities available.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience, support pupils across a range of subjects, and develop your skills within multiple local secondary schools.

Role Overview

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across the curriculum

  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain engagement

  • Support pupils in completing learning activities

  • Create a positive and productive learning environment

  • Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures

Requirements

  • Experience working with secondary‑aged students

  • Confidence leading classes independently

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Clear communication and organisational skills

  • A positive, adaptable and professional approach
