Location: Carlisle
Contract: Start 28th August until permanent member is recruited
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Wed to Fri

The Supply Register is recruiting a Computing Lecturer to support Carlisle College on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in teaching BTEC / GCSE ICT or Computer Science.
The Role
As a Computing Lecturer, you will support learners to develop literacy skills and achieve their qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering BTEC Computer Science / ICT

Supporting reading, writing, and communication skills

Preparing learners for exams

Monitoring and tracking progress

Creating an inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
-
Degree in ICT or Computer Science

Experience teaching ICT / Computer Science (BTEC or GCSE)

Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication skills
-
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
