Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:15am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour
Trust: Part of the Prospero Trust

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join the team at Pear Tree School, part of the Prospero Trust.

About the Role:
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support the smooth running of the school kitchen and help serve healthy, nutritious meals to pupils and staff. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food service and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals

  • Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy

  • Supporting the catering team with daily tasks

  • Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are met

About You:

  • Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential

  • Friendly, approachable, and a good team player

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Willing to complete food hygiene training if required
