The Supply Register is delighted to be supporting Newcastle College in recruiting a skilled and dedicated Bricklaying Lecturer to join their Construction curriculum team on a full-time, permanent basis. About the Role
As a Bricklaying Lecturer at Newcastle College, you will:

Deliver high-quality theory and practical sessions to learners across Bricklaying and wider Construction programmes.

Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum and awarding body standards.

Maintain a safe and effective workshop environment with a strong emphasis on health & safety.

Support students in developing practical skills, employability attributes, and progression pathways.

Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement within the department.
What We’re Looking For
-
Strong bricklaying trade experience and up-to-date industry knowledge.

Teaching experience within FE is desirable — however, industry professionals looking to transition into teaching are encouraged to apply.

A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is ideal, or willingness to work towards one.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire learners of varying abilities.

A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
