Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Beckfoot Thornton, part of the Beckfoot Trust, to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to support students who may require additional behavioural, emotional or pastoral support within school.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity for candidates from education, youth work, care, support work, sports coaching, mentoring or pastoral backgrounds who are looking to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you’ll work closely with students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them develop positive relationships, improve engagement and build confidence in their learning. You’ll support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, working alongside teaching and pastoral staff to promote positive behaviour and successful outcomes.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with young people
- Can build positive and professional relationships
- Is calm, resilient and patient under pressure
- Has strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Is passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential
